Orbis Systems offers a complete 5G antenna positioning system designed for precise, real-time control of antenna movement during over-the-air (OTA) testing. This system is available in two standard configurations: one built for 5G Sub-6 GHz OTA chambers and a smaller version tailored for 5G mmWave OTA chambers.
As part of our turnkey solution, Orbis Systems delivers a complete OTA testing setup. This includes the 5G OTA chamber with all required interfaces and accessories, a reliable antenna position control system, a dedicated DUT (Device Under Test) positioner, and a full calibration package, making it easy to get started with 5G active antenna testing.
The 5G antenna positioning system features three adjustable axes: measurement antenna height, distance, and polarization. Each axis is equipped with an absolute position sensor, allowing precise tracking without the need for manual scales or rulers. Even in the event of a power shutdown, the system retains its position, ensuring no data or alignment is lost.
Real-time position monitoring is enabled via Ethernet using a REST API, allowing seamless integration into automated test environments. This ensures reliable, repeatable control throughout the testing process.
The antenna positioners come with standard specifications that can be customized to meet your specific technical and testing requirements.
