In continuation to the COVID-19 pandemic relief services Ramakrishna Mission, Kozhikode (Calicut) served 2109 plates of cooked food to the stranded labourers from 26 March 2020 to 28 April 2020. The Ashrama distributed ration kits to 756 families from 26 March to 28 April 2020.
Ramakrishna Mission, Kozhikode (Calicut) started a relief camp in the ashrama school building for Out-of-State Labourers. Total 21 labourers from West Bengal are staying in the camp. 357 plates of cooked food were served for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 26 March to 03 April 2020. In addition to this evening tea, biscuits were are also served.

Onam is the grand annual festival of Kerala. It was on this day that the Vamana avatara or incarnation of Lord Vishnu visited King Mahabali, affectionately called ‘Maveli’ and gave him moksha or emancipation. According to the blessing of Lord Vishnu, every year King Mahabali visits his subjects in Kerala during the Onam festival, the main day of the festival being the day of Thiruvonam. On this occasion, elaborate flower decorations or flower rangolis are prepared. They are called ‘pookkalam’ in Malayalam. Though there were no grand celebrations in the ashrama due to the Covid-19 pandemic the pookalams were made by the employees and devotees.
A Computer Laboratory with 35 computers was set up and inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi on 22 August 2020. The inauguration was done by Revered Swami Sadbhavanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Puranattukara, Thrissur through online videoconferencing. Sri Sunil Jose of Infosys attended the inauguration through online videoconferencing. Revered Swami Sundaranandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy attended the inauguration in person. The monastics of Kozhikode ashrama, the principal, headmaster, headmistress, some senior teachers, some parents of students, and some devotees attended the inauguration.
