1. Evaporative cooling material will absorb water very quickly. If the vest is over saturated the vest becomes heavy. We recommend that you start with approx 1 min immersion, check the saturation and then work upwards.
2. Wringing the quilted fabric (HyperKewl™) can damage it. It is best to roll the product in a towel and gently squeeze to remove excess water fabric.
3. If you find the product too heavy for your liking, simply reduce the duration of time you immerse it in water.
4. Hang to dry after use.

Users can expect the evaporative cooling fabric to provide temperatures that are 10-15 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature, depending on airflow. (High humidity levels will diminish the fabric's ability to evaporate water and therefore provide cooling.) The cooling effect may last for upto 3 hrs.

You can even pop the evaporative cooling products in the fridge for a few minutes for that added chill !

PCM inserts provide a constant temperature for upto 3 hrs. The temperature depends on the PCM material used.

HyperKewl Plus™ fabric is designed to provide up to 100 wet/dry cycles. Water absorbency will diminish over time as HyperKewl Plus™ fibers migrate and entangle within the fabric structure. You may see an initial decline in the absorption of water after 5-10 wet/dry cycles as the fabric “settles”, but absorbency will remain relatively stable after this initial 5-10 wet/dry cycles. This is normal and the fabric is still very effective at water absorption and evaporation. Absorbency will also be impacted by hydration length, garment care, water quality, as well as other factors.

The PCM is encased in high strength polyurethane and can be reused time and again.

Evaporative cooling garments may be machine washed at max 40 degC using a light cycle. Do not soak the garments.

The PCM inserts can be wiped clean when required. The carrier vest may be washed by hand with mild soap after removing the inserts.

The sun protection accessories and hi visibility vests can be hand washed with mild soap.

The UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is a rating given to clothing to indicate how effectively the fabric blocks the UV radiation. The higher the UPF, better the protection. UPF 50 means that only 1/50th of the UV radiation penetrates the fabric – it blocks 98% of the UV radiation. The higher the number, better the protection.

All fabrics are not created equal when it comes to sun protection. Tighter weaves, darker colours and protective treatments increase the UPF rating of your clothing. For example, A thin white cotton T-shirt has a UPF of about 5, allowing 1/5th of the UV rays to pass through.

When choosing sun protection clothing in the middle east, it is best to opt for the highest protection possible.
